At Studio Seagraves we love technology.  We have posted about our favorite productivity apps, Shopify features, and mindfulness with technology how-to's in our journal.  Even though we are an ecommerce agency, today we thought we'd have some fun.  We decided to share our favorite astrology apps in honor of the Fall Equinox and Libra Season, as well as Mercury in Retrograde!   

Are you astro curious, just like us?  Want to dive a bit deeper into your chart but not sure where to start? Or maybe you're a seasoned reader and you're just looking for a new astrology app to make your day.

Guess what? Astrology apps have come a long way and we can't wait to share our favorites with you! Remember back in the day when you used to look up your chart on a glitchy page full of ads?  Or sheepishly read the back of magazines to find out more about your sun sign?  

Thankfully, we are entering the Age of Aquarius where technology meets new age spirituality as we learn more about Astrology and dive deeper beyond the sun sign.  The following apps will help you answer questions like "What is your Rising?" or "What is your Moon Sign?" and our favorite "What is Your Big Three? to even "What is Your Human Design?"

While Astrology Apps may be a dime a dozen right now, we decided to share our must-have apps that go beyond your sun sign.

1. CHANI

 

We swoon over the adorable and clever clip art.  The app is just simply fun and enjoyable to use with a user friendly interface and plethora of information. Chani covers your big three and everything in between.  In addition to covering north and south nodes, houses, planets and transits, there are also workshops and meditations included.

2. Co-Star

The chic black and white interface with goth tones.  Of course this app was founded by fashion industry alums Banu Guler, and co-founders Ben Weitzman and Anna Kopp.  Not only do we love the aesthetic but we also love the friendship compatibility and checking out each others charts!

3. The Pattern

This app truly goes deeper than most Astrology Apps it's also a social network for the new age.  Connect with your friends through the platform to better understand how the cosmos may affect your relationship but don't stop there: You can also analyze your relationships with friends, partners and crushes who don't use the app.  AND The Pattern is also rolling out dating with compatibility ratings based on your astrology - brilliant!

4. My Human Design

Human Design was founded by Ra Uru Hu in the 1980s, he described it as the information being channeled to him by the divine.  It's a system that explains how were built and how you respond to energy.  It's kind of like if your Astrology Chart and Myers Brigg had a love child.  Sounds complicated?  Well thank god we have this beautifully designed App by Jenna Zoe owner of My Human Design.  This App is easy to use and has a beautiful interface to guide you through your energy design and channels.  Trust us and download this app!

5. Golden Thread Tarot

Tarot and Astrology go hand and hand.  We love this app because you can easily do your card of the day digitally or on the go.  They also have a card deck too that compliments the app.  Both are beautifully designed!  The card deck is not mandatory to enjoy the app.

6. Sanctuary

This is a super fun to navigate, they've done a great job designing the interface with fun soothing colors and symbols.  They also styled it to have a messaging vibe with gifs.  With this app you receive daily readings for your sun & rising signs plus a tarot pull for the day!  They also have a monthly guide for basically everything from the big three to the nodes.  Another unique aspect is you can pay extra for a psychic reading.

7. TimePassages

This App is freaking detailed!  The free astrology service from Astrograph, the website and desktop app whose name comes from the telescopes that initiate astrophotography, offers up-to-the-minute updates about astrological events.  

If you want to dig deeper into your horoscope and understand the forces at play behind it, 
TimePassages offers a comprehensive glossary, as well as charts that explain the 
meaning behind your sun, moon, and rising sign.

8. My Moon Phase - Lunar Calendar

My Moon Phase on the App Store | Free 

My Moon Phase is the best app for tracking the lunar calendar. It has a sleek dark design which makes it easy to view information such as the current moon cycle, moonrise & moonset times as well as extras such as when the next full moon will be. If you're interested in moon photography, you can also find out when the golden hours and blue hours are so you can take the most beautiful photos.
