The Client
Lauren HB Studio is a sculpture and design practice specializing in one-of-a-kind works for residential, commercial, and public environments. As the studio transitioned from selling functional ceramics to producing high-value sculptural pieces and installations, the existing website no longer reflected the scale, pricing, or audience of the work. Studio Seagraves redesigned and restructured the site to support this evolution, creating a refined, gallery-like digital experience that positions the brand for commissions, trade relationships, and larger-scale projects.
The Challenge
Lauren HB Studio was evolving from functional ceramics and homewares into high-value, one-of-a-kind sculptural works and installations. The existing website no longer reflected the scale, pricing, or audience of the work, nor did it support commissions, trade relationships, or larger commercial projects. The challenge was to reposition the brand digitally while preserving the intimacy and artistry at the core of the practice.
Our Approach
We approached the site as a digital gallery rather than a traditional eCommerce storefront. Our focus was on restraint, pacing, and hierarchy, allowing the work to lead while introducing clear structure and intentional pathways for collectors, designers, and collaborators. The experience needed to feel artful and contemplative while remaining functional and easy to navigate.
The Solution
We designed and developed a refined Shopify site that elevates Lauren’s work through considered layouts, immersive imagery, and simplified navigation. The new site supports higher price points, commission inquiries, and trade relationships while maintaining clarity and performance. The result is a gallery-like digital experience aligned with the studio’s new direction and long-term growth.
